Qualifications & Approach
Real Therapy for Real Life
I'm not a stuffy therapist sitting silently with a notebook.
I work in a warm, honest, down-to-earth way where you can show up exactly as you are. Sessions are conversational, supportive, and tailored to you.
Sometimes people need space to vent. Sometimes they need help understanding patterns, rebuilding trust, setting boundaries, or figuring out how to move forward after addiction has affected their relationship or family life.
Therapy with Untangled is about helping people:
Talk openly without feeling judged
Rebuild trust and connection
Understand unhealthy patterns
Handle conflict in healthier ways
Adjust to recovery and the changes that come with it
Feel more grounded and less overwhelmed
Stop carrying everything on their own
Together, we can work towards:
Understanding difficult emotions and patterns
Building confidence and self-esteem
Managing anxiety and stress
Improving relationships and communication
Processing grief, trauma, or life changes
Creating healthier ways of coping
Training & Therapeutic Approaches
I hold:
BSc Psychology
BSc Counselling & Psychotherapy
MSc Clinical Health Psychology
NFQ Level 8 Certificate in Gambling Addiction
Grief Counselling
My work is grounded in a mixture of approaches including:
Humanistic Therapy
CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy)
Person-Centred Therapy
Psychodynamic Therapy
Every person is different, so therapy is never one-size-fits-all. I draw from different approaches depending on what feels most helpful and relevant to you. What matters most is creating a space where you feel comfortable enough to talk openly, honestly, and without judgement.
